Description

These cottage cheese bagels are soft, protein-packed, and easy to prep. Perfect for breakfast, post-workout fuel, or a healthy snack anytime.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or Greek-style)

1 egg

1 cup all-purpose or oat flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. In a blender or bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg until smooth.

3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a thick dough forms.

4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape into bagels.

5. Place on tray and sprinkle with bagel seasoning if using.

6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use Greek-style cottage cheese for thicker dough.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for 2 months.

Great when toasted and topped with avocado, cream cheese, or almond butter.

Try gluten-free flour if needed — results may vary slightly.
